Oh I love she hulk. Growing up she seemed like a hokey add-on to the original green behemoth.
But going back and reading her exploits, she’s a great character. After being shot, lawyer Jennifer Walters needed a blood transfusion, only person with her blood type was her closest relative; her cousin Bruce Banner. The result after gamma radiated blood entering her body was giving her powers and green skin similar to, though nowhere near as powerful; The HULK.
Comedy mixed with super smashing and courtroom drama, she is one of the few characters in comics that have actually acknowledges you, the reader, and her own awareness that she’s in a comic book.
Jennifer Walters recent adventures has also been pretty solid for the past two years, starting with “Single Green Female” balancing her hero-lawyer persona, and has been delivering everything a comic should be; fun. Entertaining story, solid art, quick pace, with consistent cliffhangers.
